Then, you may want to check local websites and even manufacturer website if the car model you are planning to buy has recalled a particular model. To see if your car has ever been recalled or had big manufacturer problems, the easiest way is to look for Consumer Guides, check their Used Car Rating Guide, this section shows information about an individually used car such as its technical data, suggest price range, and a description of the recall history. If your car model had problems in the past, they would know about it and list it here.
Third is that you have to check blogs, forums and websites that showcase car reviews from owners and check for satisfaction level.
