I just learned a great trick for getting a good price on a Houston TX used car and I did it entirely by accident. Here’s the trick: get financed for the wrong amount! If you get your financing for your Houston TX used car before you go to the car dealership, then once you have your heart set on a car and the salesperson thinks he has you hooked, they won’t let you get away from that Houston TX used car so quickly. My check for financing was actually about $800 less than the so called lowest price (and that was pretty good for an originally $5000 car), and the salesperson just accepted it to make sure I bought the car!
